- HARDWARE SUPPORT TERMS AND
COSTS -
There is at least 30-90 days free support for
all software by The Electronic Avenue, Inc. and
the software manufacturer. All hardware systems have a 1-3 years manufacturers warranty, which
will replace the hardware during the warranty period. The
warranty does not cover shipping and possibly other miscellaneous
fees. All hardware purchases are final after shipping.
Most customers purchase support contracts of one kind or another. We
will not be able to help in any way, someone who does not
have a support contract after the initial free period. We have to give
priority to the customers who have paid for the support.
This is our support policy.
Here are the fees
for several support packages which cover
hardware and software:

Payment of $95/hour and 1 hour minimum per phone call or
on site visit. Payment arrangements will be made at the time of
the phone call or support will not be rendered.

Monthly payments will be made for 1 year support contract and the payment
will be determined by The Electronic Avenue, Inc and must be
made in advance of the need for support. With this option the
merchant will receive the following:
- All credit card processing profit
will be given back to the customer monthly
- All new hardware or software will be
sold at cost to the customer, no markup
- Only $0.50 per mile both ways will be charged
for on site visits.
- For hardware repair, only shipping
and cost of repair will be charged, no markup
- Supplies at cost,
no markup.

Software Annual Support

$495 annually
|
I will purchase a support contract with the POS software manufacturer for you.
This is for their support on the software only. They will not
help with networking, Windows OS, hardware or anything else
that is not software oriented.

The Electronic Avenue, Inc. Annual
Support

$895 annually
|
The Electronic Avenue, Inc. will support all product
and service issues on the phone or on
site. This does not include travel expenses at $0.50 per mile if on site
support is needed. |
Software & The Electronic Avenue,
Inc Annual Support

$1,295 annually
|
This support option will help out and cover everything.
The software manufacturer can be called 24 hours a day, 365 days a year,
if offered by the software
manufacturer.

- All payments will need to be paid up front by check,
credit card or by ACH. You may also call, email or
fax a check or credit card payment. Payment forms can be
emailed.
- If the time on the phone is only a yes or no type answer
to a question then there will be no charge.
- No charge for email support. Not all questions will be
able to be completed by email.
- All calls and emails will be at the discretion of The
Electronic Avenue, Inc. as paid support.
- Anyone who tries to take advantage of the yes or no type
answer will be charged
automatically.
